CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR RELEASE OF SUBSIDY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SPV POWER PLANT.

  • Joint Commissioning Report
  • Copy of the invoice signed by the beneficiary
  • Copy of Aadhar Card of the applicant
  • Proof of Identity address of the user (Self-attested copy of Voter ID, Electricity Bill, Government I-Card)
  • Copy of Warranty Certificate-cum-Comprehensive Maintenance as per Performa below
  • Copy of Electricity bills
  • Wind speed Certificate of 170km/h above 25 KW capacity Plants.
  • For Institutions Certificate under Society Act to be submitted duly signed by Head of Organisation. CA certificate is also required.
  • Proof for social/ NGO organization document required.
  • Print apply for subsidy Performa from the net metering website
The above said documents should be in sequence.
Note: IN CASE OF DOCUMENTS NOT SUBMITTED AS ABOVE, NO SUBSIDY WILL BE RELEASED.

Net- Metering Policy

It is a billing mechanism for grid-connected Rooftop Solar Installation

Scenario 1

During Day-time, the solar panels produce electricity. The excess units produced or the units which are not consumed are fed back to the grid

Scenario 2

During Night or a day without the Sun, the solar panels do not produce any electricity. The electricity is then drawn from the utility grid

Benefits of Net-Metering:

  • Reduce your electricity bill: The consumer pays solely for the difference between the energy units it consumes from the grid and the energy units fed back to the grid. This radically reduces the electricity bill and saves you a chunk of your hard-earned money which can be used for other investment tools.
  • No Maintenance: Net-metered solar installations do not require any battery or generators. These batteries or generators are not only costly but incur a large amount of maintenance charges as they need to be replaced timely. This saves you money as well as your time.
  • Better Energy Utilisation: Power generated from utilities travel a distance to reach you which incurs travel and distribution losses. In Solar installations, T&D losses are negligible as the energy generated is consumed at the same location. This not only reduces energy congestion but also benefit residents with improved grid voltage.
